An Oval of Roses ~*

This beautiful all white bouquet came to me from Maryland.
It was a beautiful ball of White Roses and Dusty Miller!

The flowers are pressed and mounted on a periwinkle background,
then vacuum sealed and framed in an 11x14 silver, oval frame.
Only conservation clear, museum quality glass is used.

It arrived late Monday evening. I was so excited to see it.
It is beautiful. Most importantly my daughter loves it.
Thank you again. Pat, Mother of the Bride

Kelly's Beautiful Autumn Bridal Bouquet ~*

Kelly's Bridal Bouquet was an amazing combination of plants and flowers!

Floral Design by: Petal Pushers, Dripping Springs, Texas

Teddy Bear Sunflowers, 3 Kinds of Orchids, Rununculous, Calla Lillies,
Mums, Scabiosa Pods, Goldenrod, Dahlia, Billy Balls, Feverfew,
Hypericum Berries, Cockscomb, Leucodendron, Astilbe,
 Silver Leaves and Eucalyptus!

The flowers were pressed, preserved, some were color-enhanced,
then mounted on an ivory background and
professionally framed in an 11x14 walnut frame.

Each flower is pressed, some taken apart first and reassembled later.
The bride chooses how she wants her bouquet presented.
In this case, she wanted the flowers, only
and she wanted them to fill the frame with a small space around the edge.
After the art is completed, it is vacuum sealed.

made from extra orchids from the bouquet.

Thank you, Kelly, for trusting me with your gorgeous bridal bouquet!

Danielle's Burst of Color Bridal Bouquet ~*

 Preserving Danielle's Bridal Bouquet
really was like preserving the sunshine!

Bright Red Gerbera Daisies, Red Roses,
Red and Yellow Freesia and Yellow Pin Cushion Protea
made up this beautiful bridal bouquet!

Danielle chose to have her bouquet pressed and preserved
on an ivory background, which really sets off all that blazing color!
Included is her wedding picture.  It is framed in an 11x14 mahogany frame.

Here are a couple of close-up shots!

See the little heart-shaped rose petals?
I sometimes find these down inside the roses and always like
to find a place to tuck them into the art!

Thank you, Danielle, for trusting me with transforming your
beautiful bouquet into an heirloom!

Brooke's Creative and Unique Bridal Bouquet ~*

Artichokes, Kale, Succulents, Silver Brunia, Eucalyptus Berries and Scabiosa Pods
were some of the unusual items in Brooke's Bridal Bouquet,
that you don't normally think of when you think of Pressed Flowers!

Brooke's Bridal Bouquet was a unique design of Kale, Purple and White Calla Lillies, Succulents, Dusty Miller Leaves, Freesia, Lizianthus, Silver Brunia and Scabiosa Pods!  Other flowers were added to her Pressed Flower Art from table bouquets and bridesmaids bouquets and included Artichoke, Goldenrod and other items!

in an 11"x14" Barnwood Frame!

Along the right side you can see a Double White Calla Lilly on top of a Dusty Miller Leaf.  This is actually the grooms boutonniere tucked into the design.

In this close-up shot, you can see the Artichokes and Succulents.
The Kale is in the background.

bits of flowers and leaves.

Kale Pendants!
Yes, you read that right, Kale Pendants!
The Kale Leaves pressed to a bright yellow and my brave,
creative bride wanted to see what would happen if I painted them teal!
So, I used some pastels and interestingly,
the veins picked up the most paint!
Unique, huh?

"We couldn't be more thankful to you for preserving our amazing, yet challenging, flowers! We loved our unique florals and now we get to look at them forever! Not to mention our family also gets to enjoy them with the gifts you made. We're so glad Crissalane told us about Pressed Garden."

This is one bouquet I will never forget.  Thank you, Brooke, for
trusting me with things I had never pressed before!
I had fun trying new techniques and learned that
Yes! Artichokes, Succulents and Kale CAN be pressed!

Dekrisha's Surprise!

Instead of tossing her bridal bouquet, Dekrisha gave it
as a gift to the guest who had traveled the furthest
to come to her wedding, Dubai.

Her guest was so moved by the gift, that she wanted to have it preserved
and returned to the bride as a surprise!
She found me online and brought the bouquet to my studio.
She chose to have Dekrisha's bouquet pressed and preserved,
then mounted on a light green background and framed in barnwood!

When the art was completed, the bride and groom were told
to come to my studio, but did not know why.
Imagine Dekrisha's surprise when she realized that the bridal bouquet
she had given as a gift, had been preserved and returned
to HER as a gift!

Here is a closer look at the bridal bouquet of White Tulips,
Ranunculous, Orchids, Stephanotis, Hydrangea, Lilly of the Valley,
Light Green Hydrangea and Rosemary Leaves.

She also chose 4 Scrapbook Squares.
These are small 2" square pieces of artmade from bits of left over flowers
that can be used for scrapbooking or for magnets.

Thank you, Jane! It was delightful to be a part of Dekrisha's surprise!

Rachel's Sweet, Soft Bridal Bouquet ~

Floral Design by Linda at Breathtaking Blooms, Austin, TX

Rachel's Beautiful Bouquet included Pink Roses,
White Lizianthus, Ranunculous, Queen Ann's Lace,
Carnations, Freesia and Pink/White Alstromeria.

All of Rachel's flowers were pressed, preserved,
and arranged around her wedding invitation.
The little pink rose petal hearts in the top corner
were found deep inside the pink roses.
The flowers were mounted on a navy blue background,
which picks up the blue in the invitation and provides the perfect backdrop
for the soft, subtle shades in the flowers!

The art was professionally framed in a bright white 11"x14" frame.

Here are are a couple of pics that will give you a closer look.
Notice the bits of lace?  They were one piece wrapped around the stems
of the bouquet and came from the wedding dress of the Mother of the Bride!
(I love that)

Stephanie's Beautiful Country Bouquet ~

Gorgeous Bridal Bouquet of Country Roses, Regular Roses,
Bush Roses, Anemone, Stephanotis, Silver Artemsia Leaves,
and some of the most beautiful Lizzianthus I've ever seen!

Floral Design by: Sherri Jentsch, Blumen Meisters, New Braunfels, TX

Pressed Garden took each blossom apart,
pressed them, color enhanced some items,
then arranged the flowers just as Stephanie carried them.
Stephanie opted for a Country Barnwood Frame for her Bridal Bouquet Art!
Now her bridal bouquet is an heirloom!

Up close, you can see the amount of detail in the art.
Do you see the hidden hearts?
I found those petals hidden down deep in her roses!
