on Facebook...

 I Was Inspired to Make One of 

Real Pressed Lavender Flowers!

Butterfly Memorial ~*

This Pressed Flower Butterfly Was Made to Honor

the Memory and Life of a Sweet Little Infant Girl

The Pressed Flower Art is made up of several types of 

 Pink, White, and Red Roses, Rose Buds 

and Baby's Breath that were collected 

from the flowers at the memorial service. 

 

*~ A Little Closer View of the Pressed Flowers ~*

The body of the butterfly is made from a decorative grass

and the antennae are made from the pins of a Pincoushion Protea. 

*~ Heart-Shaped Beveled Glass Ornament ~*

Often, hidden down deep in a rose is one petal 

that is shaped like a heart! 

Butterflies were released at the memorial service.

There is alot of hidden symbolism in this ornament.

(The butterflies are made from left over rose petals)

Roses, Stock, Rose Buds, Hydrangea and Hypericum Berries!

Brittany, from Indiana carried this 

beautiful bouquet in her wedding!

The Florist was Lisa at Dandelions in Muncie, IN!

The flowers were shipped from Indiana to my studio in Texas.

The flowers are then taken apart and pressed until dry.

 Brittany chose to have her flowers preserved and 

arranged around her wedding invitation.

Often roses have a tiny heart shaped petal down inside!

I like to find a special place for it, when I find one!   

White and Purple Dendrobium Orchids ~*

These Preserved Orchids were an Anniversary Present! 

The husband gifted his wife with a beautiful bouquet,

but sent me part of it, to be preserved!

The Brass Tag in the Bottom Corner

Is a Personal Sentiment For His Wife!

(If you look closely, you can see the ribbon from the stems)

 The Pressed and Preserved Flowers 

Were Vacuum-Sealed Before Being 

Professionally Framed in a Walnut Frame
