Peonies and Roses ~

Beautiful, Fragrant White and Pink Peonies always take me back to Indiana,
where they are the State Flower.
This Texas Bridal Bouquet was brimming with Peonies.
The White Roses had just a blush of pink.
They filled my studio with fragrance as I enjoyed preserving every petal!

The lace piece in the corner had been wrapped around the stems of the bouquet
and added a nice touch to the art!

Heart-Shaped Beveled Glass Ornaments made from left-over petals!

Graduation Lei of Rose Buds and Orchids!

This Graduation Party Theme for this University of Texas Grad was "Hawaiian"
and she was honored with a gift of a beautiful Lei to celebrate!
I preserved the Lei and arranged the flowers around her graduation photo's.

Classic Red Rose Bridal Bouquet...with Grass!

This Bride from Ohio, carried a Classic Red Rose Bouquet,
embellished with Crab Grass, to honor her father,
who is in the lawn care business!

I love the endlessly creative ways that brides express their love
through the bouquet they carry on their wedding day!

She also chose to remember her wedding day
with a Teardrop Beveled Glass Ornament!

Preserved Garden Flowers ~

Memorial of Garden Flowers surround the photo of a loved one.

Roses, Lizianthus, Obedient Plant, Yarrow and Dried Grasses and Wheat ~*

This Texas Bride carried a bouquet included
dried flowers and seed heads in it.
We could not use those, as they were already dry, hard
and would have crumbled under the pressure of the presses.
I did "fake" it with adding the wheat straws.
The ribbon at the bottom represents the burlap ribbon
that was wrapped around the stem of the bouquet.

Tiny Rose Buds and Babies Breath ~

This Texas bride wore a wrist corsage of tiny Rose Buds and Babies Breath.
The groom had a matching boutonniere.
I combined them both and arranged them around their Wedding Vows!
