Becky's Surprise for Her Daughter, the Bride ~*

Becky's daughter, carried this beautiful Bridal Bouquet of

White Peonies, Pink Garden Roses, Pink Bush Roses,

Hydrangea and Succulents from her grandmothers yard.

 She chose to have the bouquet preserved and mounted

on a Celery Seed Green background and framed in

 These sweet pink rose petal hearts were found deep inside one of the roses!

The lace was wound around the stems and came from the Mother of the Bride's Wedding Bouquet! 

 I used left over Rose Petals, Hydrangea Florets and 

Succulent Leaves for these two Heart-Shaped Beveled Glass Ornaments!

Hyeon's Bright White Bridal Bouquet ~

Lovely, Fresh White Bridal Bouquet of 

Garden Roses, Rununculous, Stock, Baby's Breath,

and Frilly Tulips and Peony!

 Hyeon, Houston, TX, chose to have her bridal bouquet 
preservedand presented on a gray background

and in an 11x14" Silver Oval Frame! 

 It can be a challenge in an all-white bouquet to keep it from looking

like an all white mash-up.  The key is to accentuate texture by

color enhancing the petals in different, subtle hues of white.

In other words, every petal in this bouquet was painted, individually!

I am really happy with how this bouquet turned out!

I pressed and preserved Kara's bouquet

on a "Terre Grotto" background, vacuum sealed it and 

framed it in an 11x14 Walnut Frame.

Kara gave me some freedom on how to arrange her flowers around her wedding invitation.  Because the original bouquet had such a pretty draping effect, 

I chose to have the flowers spill up and over the invitation.  

I had never pressed Cotton Plants before.  The outter shell is quite hard, so I took it apart,  and soaked it in water before pressing under concrete blocks!  

I reconstructed it to look 3-dimentional, while still flat.

An Oval of Roses ~*

 This beautiful all white bouquet came to me from Maryland.

It was a beautiful ball of White Roses and Dusty Miller! 

The flowers are pressed and mounted on a periwinkle background, 

then vacuum sealed and framed in an 11x14 silver, oval frame.  

Only conservation clear, museum quality glass is used. 

It arrived late Monday evening. I was so excited to see it.
It is beautiful. Most importantly my daughter loves it.
